Prof. Rongni Yang
(Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.S. degree in mathematics from Shandong University, Jinan, China, in 2006, and the M.E. and the Ph.D. degrees in control theory and control engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, China, in 2008 and 2012, respectively. From 2009 to 2011, she was a Research Associate with the Faculty of Advanced Technology, University of South Wales, Pontypridd, U.K. From February 2013 to April 2013, she was a Research Associate with the Department of Mechanical Engineering, The University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong. From February 2017 to February 2019, she was a Research Fellow with the School of Computing, Engineering and Mathematics, Western Sydney University, Sydney, NSW, Australia. She is currently a Professor with the School of Control Science and Engineering, Shandong University. Her current research interests include networked control systems, sliding mode control, 2-D systems, and their applications.
Dr. Yang currently serves as an Associate Editor for a number of international journals, including IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics, Neural Networks, Circuits, Systems & Signal Processing, and IET Electronics Letters.
