Maciej Patan - Co-Investigator

was born in 1975. He received his M.Sc. and Ph.D degrees, both in electrical engineering, from the University of Zielona Góra, Poland, in 2000 and 2004, respectively. From 2005 to 2006 he was a Research Assistant in Statistics at the School of Mathematical Sciences, Queen Mary, University of London. IEEE Member since 2009.

Since 2014 he is an Associated Professor with the Institute of Control and Computation Engineering and Head of the Laboratory of Robotics. Member of Committee on Computer Science and Automatic of Polish Academy of Science. His current research interests include optimal experimental design in distributed parameter systems, distributed computing and optimization in sensor networks, machine learning and artificial intelligence in process and robot control.l.
