was born in Zielona Góra, Poland, in 1975. He received his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Zielona Góra in 2000 and 2005, respectively. Between 2008 and 2010 he conducted postdoctoral research at Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands. In 2014 he obtained his habilitation degree in automatic control from the Wrocław University of Science and Technology. He is currently an Associate Professor at the Institute of Automation, Electronics and Electrical Engineering at the University of Zielona Góra, Poland. His primary research interests lie in the areas of multidimensional (nD) systems, repetitive processes, and convex optimization in robust control. In particular, he focuses on applying two‑dimensional and repetitive system frameworks to iterative learning control problems.
Wojciech Paszke has authored over 120 publications, mainly addressing various aspects of control of multidimensional and repetitive systems. He has delivered numerous presentations at major international control conferences, including the IEEE Conference on Decision and Control (CDC), the American Control Conference (ACC), the European Control Conference (ECC), and the IFAC World Congress. Moreover, Prof. Paszke serves as an Associate Editor for Multidimensional Systems and Signal Processing and as a member of the Editorial Board of the International Journal of Control.
