We are pleased to announce our participation in the 12th International Conference on Control, Decision and Information Technologies (CoDIT 2026). CoDIT is a premier international forum bringing together researchers and practitioners to present the latest advancements in control theory, decision-making, and information technologies.
Our group presented two papers featuring novel advances in iterative learning control (ILC):
Robert Maniarski presented the paper entitled "Data-driven iterative learning control design using the repetitive process setting". The work addresses the design of robust ILC laws directly from noisy input-state experimental data. By leveraging linear repetitive process stability theory, the paper formulates the robust convergence problem into linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) to effectively decouple trial-to-trial error from transient trial dynamics.
Boyu Wen, a visiting student from China University of Geosciences (Wuhan, China), presented his work titled "Iterative Learning Control for Unknown Nonlinear Systems Based on Data-Driven Model-Free Feedback Linearization". His research proposes a 2D system-based ILC scheme for unknown nonlinear systems, combining model reference adaptive control (MRAC) and Q-learning to achieve feedback linearization without prior model knowledge.
Additionally, we were delighted to be joined by Xiao Yang from China University of Geoscience, Wuhan, who accompanied our delegation to gain valuable academic experience and engage with the international control engineering community.
During the conference, our team actively engaged in technical sessions and workshops, focusing on the latest trends in advanced control applications. Our participation in this major event allowed for the exchange of innovative ideas regarding robust control, data-driven techniques, and modern learning-based algorithms.
This involvement underscores our ongoing commitment to integrating modern AI and data-driven methods with classical control theory to solve complex engineering challenges, while supporting the professional development of our younger researchers and fostering international academic exchange at all career levels.
